Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with strong, recent home health experience and a NJ or compact RN license.

Details

Home health setting providing care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Common diagnoses include wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, heart failure, diabetes, oncology, post-surgical, and orthopedic cases
Productivity expectation of 6 visits per day or equivalent (admissions count as 2 visits)
Required to work every 5th weekend
Required to work every other holiday
Uses OASIS and Epic EMR systems

Requirements

Active NJ or Compact RN license required, verified via Nursys within 2 weeks of submission
Current BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of assignment start
Minimum 2 years of recent home health experience within the last 12 months
Med Surg skills required
Experience with OASIS and Epic EMR systems required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing

Additional Information

Provide skilled home health nursing care to patients recently discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
No mileage reimbursement provided
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to the local pay rate
