Home Health RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Paramus, New Jersey
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation: 1 out of every 6 weekends
Travelers are expected to complete 4–5 visits within an 8-hour shift
Minimal RTO will be considered, up to 5 days or less

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Home Health experience within the last year
1 year of Home Health experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a Home Care setting

Additional Notes

This is a home care role where driving between visit locations is required
Mileage reimbursement is described for travel between visit locations and for first/last visit travel, subject to the stated distance rules
Local candidates are defined as within 75 miles of the home base
Local rate is reduced for local candidates

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
