Description
RN ICU
Overview
- Travel/contract RN ICU assignment in New Haven, Connecticut.
- Mixed acuity unit with both ICU and SD assignments.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Schedule: 4x12s, every other weekend, with some holiday coverage.
- Possibility to float to adult ICUs at other campuses.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut.
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NIHSS.
- Pending license accepted.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam.
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
- Color Blind Testing Online.
- State license verification within 30 days of start.
- NURSYS verification within 30 days of start.
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start.
- Fit Mask test within 12 months of start.
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray.
- TB Questionnaire.
- Drug Testing.
- References within 3 years of start.
- Employment application with a 7 year work history and no gaps greater than 90 days.
- Skills Checklist 1 within 12 months of start.
- Work history verification for the last 7 years for start dates on or after 8/2/2024.
- Attestation of Prior Radiation Exposure.
Preferred
- Guaranteed hours.
- COVID vaccination if received.
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start.
