OR RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia
13 weeks, starting ASAP
12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
4 10-hour days with call rotation is also noted in the source

Required Qualifications

WV or Compact RN license
BLS
2+ years of experience
Experience in all areas of the OR

Preferred

Scrub experience
DaVinci Robot experience

Unit / Department

OR with 11 total rooms: 8 OR suites and 3 Endo suites
Cross training to Endo is expected

Clinical Scope

Cases include General, Ortho, Neuro, eyes, ENT, and Vascular other than open hearts
Does not do open hearts

Schedule / Call

One weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7P-7A
One weekend shift call on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, up to 24 hours per 3-month contract

No prescreen for the OR
Baxter pumps
Robots: Phillips and Dynomap
50 mile radius rule
Candidate must include a copy of an unexpired driver’s license with submission

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
