Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Overview
- Travel assignment in Brooklyn, New York
- Outpatient oncology clinic
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Primary diagnosis: Oncology
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- 37.5 hours/week
- No shift rotation
- Length of assignment: 8 weeks
Department / Setting
- Outpatient Cancer Center
- Special procedures: PET/CT
- Equipment: Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT and Hot Lab equipment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New York
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- NMTCB Certification
- Experience in a Clinic setting
- Experience in a Hospital setting
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE
- Safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
- Siemens equipment experience
- PET imaging experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (N)
- ARRT (PET)
- Previous Charge Technologist experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience administering Pluvicto (theranostic) injections
Additional Notes
- Provider support: Radiology
