Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Rochester, New York
- Evening shift: 4x10 hours, 13:00–23:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Call required
- Scrubs: Teal
- Minimal RTO preferred
- Block scheduling may be accommodated, but is not guaranteed
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Pending license is not accepted
- First-time travelers are not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Ortho Trauma experience
- Neurology experience
- Urology experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Thoracic Surgery experience
- Experience with Epic
- Must complete a background check, education verification, state license verification, NURSYS verification, orientation safety manual acknowledgement, competency exam, medication test/pharmacology competency exam, color blind testing, photo for badge, employment application, skills checklist, work history verification, and required health screenings/vaccinations

Health and Compliance Items
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask within 1 year of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required in lieu of annual TB test renewal
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation required
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or signed declination required during flu season
- Snellen eye exam within 1 year of start
- COVID vaccination documentation is preferred, but not required
