Description

Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
  • 13-week contract
  • Clinical, patient-facing role
  • 36 guaranteed hours

Schedule

  • 4x10 hour shifts per week
  • Possible 5:00 AM start times
  • Some late days during the week
  • Weekend and holiday call
  • Weekend on call every 6 weeks
  • 1 weekend call from Friday to Sunday in a 6-week period
  • Must be able to respond within 20 minutes of a call-out
  • Holidays as required

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Alabama
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates nursing care for patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
  • Participates in patient and family teaching
  • Provides leadership while working with other team members and disciplines to maintain professional nursing standards

Additional Details

  • Must be willing to float to units/hospitals
  • Meditech is used at the facility
  • Solid navy scrubs/dress code

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
