Critical Care Float
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Fishers, Indiana
- Night shift: 4x12s, 19:00-7:30
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Float required across ICU, PCU, MS, and ED based on departmental needs
- Short-Term Acute Care facility with 194, 210, 153, and 174 staffed beds across listed areas
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Critical Care Float (3 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Ventilator management
- Experience with Artic Sun
- Experience with Balloon Pump
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong PCU experience
Unit / Clinical Context
- Critical care float assignment
- Patient population includes ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, UTI, and acute shock
- Procedures / care areas mentioned: Cath Lab, TR Bands, sheath pulls, EEGs, cardioversion, and stress tests
