CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location

Butler, Pennsylvania

Assignment Details

13-week contract
Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
3 scanners/rooms at BMH and 1 scanner/room at CH
Typical schedule includes varied daylight and afternoon start times
4x10 days
Weekends as scheduled
Every other weekend required
Holidays are optional
Typically one week of unit/department-specific orientation

Required Qualifications

CT Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of CT Technologist experience
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with GE imaging equipment
Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
Experience with Canon imaging equipment

Preferred / Helpful Experience

Experience with emergency studies and routine OP imaging

Department / Workflow

Average volume: 150 total scans/studies per day
Radiologist in-house
Uses Meditech Expanse and Philips PACS
Scrubs: any except purple

Float / Coverage

Does not float or cover other areas

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
