Travel CT Tech
Overview
- Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
- Employment type: Travel
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7a; Weds, Thurs, Fri, and every other Sat
- Call required: 4 days per month
- No floating required
- 48-hr GHs are not approved
- Scrub color: Any
- EMR: Medhost
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT)
- Radiology Technologist experience
Role Details
- Provides diagnostic CT examinations and CT care for patients under physician and radiologist direction.
- Responsibilities include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine diagnostic CT scanning.
- CT scanning experience includes head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is part of the role.
