Stepdown Cardiac
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Arlington, Virginia.
- Cardiovascular Unit: CV Stepdown/Tele.
- This unit cares for cardiac surgery patients after ICU.
Schedule
- Day shift, 3x12 hours.
- Every other weekend.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- ASAP start, dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia.
- Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience).
- Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients.
- Experience managing chest tubes.
- Experience managing dysrhythmia.
- Telemetry experience.
Preferred
- BLS is listed as preferred, not required, for SPTs.
Additional Notes
- COVID: possible.
- Flu vaccine is required during flu season.
- EPIC training/class assignment depends on prior EPIC experience.
