Overview
- Location: Middletown, New York
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 3x12s
- Hours per week: 36
- Schedule: 8, 10, or 12 hour days
- Call: Some on-call hours may be required
Role Details
- The unit has 11 rooms and handles about 40 cases per day.
- The RN must circulate.
- No scrubbing is necessary.
- The unit does not do Open Hearts or Transplants.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
- American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification preferred
