Description

RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Loris, South Carolina
Employment Type: LTA
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including assessment, age-specific nursing interventions, patient/family support, and participation in quality, mentoring, and professional development activities. Will float to assist in other like units as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
NRP issued by the American Heart Association
Driver's License

Preferred

References preferred but not required

Additional Notes

Fit Test is optional and required for all travelers with make/model to be completed within a year of start
Influenza Vaccine is optional and required Sept-April; medical/religious exemptions decided case by case
Annual Negative PPD, Annual TB Questionnaire, and Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray are optional alternatives or follow-up items described in the source

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
