Operating Room

Role Overview

• Travel assignment for an Operating Room RN.
• 13-week contract.
• 10-hour evening shift.
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly, excluding on-call time.

Required Qualifications

• MA RN license; can apply at time of offer and must apply for temp and perm.
• CPR-AHA.
• 1-3 years related work experience.
• Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Scrub experience required.
• ORTHO experience required.
• EMR experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience.
• Experience in a teaching hospital.
• Specialty area expertise.

Schedule / Call

• 10H evening rotation.
• Short call, weekend call, and night call.

Unit / Setting

• East Campus OR has 20 ORs.
• Surgical procedures include Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology.

Other Important Notes

• COVID vaccine required; medical exemption acceptable.
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are acceptable.
• No local travelers accepted; cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Travelers who worked there as perm or per diem within the last year are not accepted.
• Orientation is weekly on Mondays, barring a holiday.
• Interview and offer are by manager.
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application.
