Inpatient Pharmacist

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Boone, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Shift times vary, but do not extend past 9pm
4x10 day shift, 9:00–19:00

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Valid Pharmacist license in North Carolina
Pharmacist experience within the last year
1 year of pharmacist experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Required Credentials and Compliance

ACLS
BLS
PALS
NURSYS verification, as applicable and required for all RNs
State License 1 Verification
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable
Competency Exam
Proof of 2 clinical references
Complete application/resume
Skills checklist, updated annually
Background check
Physical exam, updated annually
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
Drug screen within 30 days of start, updated annually
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
