Description
Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Boone, NC 28607
Facility: Watauga Medical Center
Start Date: 11/09/2026
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours (9:00 AM–7:00 PM)
Experience: 3+ year
Requirements:
- PharmD degree required.
- Active North Carolina Pharmacist license.
- EPIC experience required.
- Pharmacist-to-dose protocol experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders, allergies, and drug interactions.
- Perform medication reconciliation and pharmacist-to-dose consults.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Verify IV admixtures and ensure compliance with USP 797/800 guidelines.
- Ensure medication safety and provide clinical pharmacy support.
Note: Shift times may vary but will not extend beyond 9:00 PM.
