Emergency Room Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Farmington, Missouri
- Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 18:30–07:00
- Works both EDs in Farmington and Bonne Terre
- Start date: 3–4 weeks per compliance tier
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Every other weekend
- 36 hours per week
- May float between Farmington and Bonne Terre locations
- Local candidates are not accepted; local radius rule is 75 miles
- No on-call
- No block schedule
- RTO limit: no more than 7 days
- Pending license accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience with central line management
- Experience with transvenous pacemaker
- Experience with chest tubes
- Government issued ID
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- Missouri state-specific search
- Missouri Highway Patrol check
- Education verification
- Primary source verification of professional license
- NURSYS verification
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
