MRI Technologist

Overview

Temp assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Nights, 8 hours per day
26-week contract

Required Qualifications

2 years current Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) certification
GE Equipment experience
Active American Heart Association BLS
Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
Must be willing to take call as needed
Traveler must have their own vehicle
Permanent address must be included in the profile
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
Must work one holiday block if scheduled/needed: Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, or New Year Eve through New Year Day and the weekend after
Will not consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

Meditech Expanse experience

Work Setting

GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
Approximately 9 patients per shift
Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler; will never work solo
After midnight, the department is covered by call
8 hours of non-billable orientation

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
