Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Day shift: 5x8s, 11:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Adult and geriatric surgical patients
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIHSS
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience working with General Surgery patients
- Experience working with Podiatry patients
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with robotic surgery
- Experience in the general operating room (OR)
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Neurology experience
Preferred
- TNCC or an approved trauma course may count toward required trauma contact hours if completed within 1 year of start
Additional Details
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of Operating Room experience
- On-call is optional
- Local candidates are accepted
- Time off must be submitted with the application
