Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic

Role Description

• Scan emergency department and inpatients on a Philips Brilliance 64 CT scanner in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be fully trained in CT and in the facility's EMR and PACS systems.

Onboarding and Submission Requirements

Required for submission:

• Skills checklist completed within the past year
• 2 professional references

Required for onboarding:

• Specialty-specific competency testing, completed within the past year
• Joint Commission CORE exam, completed within the past year
• Skills checklist (provided by the agency for clinical roles)
• Physical or health statement from an exam within the past year, confirming fitness to work
• Fit test (1860+ mask only)
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start, with MRO signature. Must include cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, propoxyphene, PCP, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methaqualone, and methadone. No THC.
• Background checks dated within 30 days of start: federal, nationwide, and county criminal (last 7 years), SSN verification, and sanctions/exclusion checks (OFAC, EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO)
• Education verification from a third-party screening report
• License/certificate verification dated within 30 days of start
• Signed forms: code of conduct, conflict of interest disclosure, confidentiality and system security agreement, integrity and audit services form (signed within days prior to start), and system access form (completed one week before start)
• Standard I-9 completed by the agency
• Badge photo

Immunizations and health screening:

• COVID-19 vaccine proof, declination, or exemption (with agency letterhead)
• Influenza vaccine proof, declination, or exemption (with agency letterhead)
• MMR: proof of 2 vaccinations with dates, or IgG titer with lab printout
• Varicella: proof of 1 vaccination with date, or IgG titer with lab printout
• Hepatitis B: 3-shot series. First shot before start, second 30 days later, third 6 months later. Titers not accepted.
• Tuberculosis: 2-step PPD or IGRA. A positive result requires a chest X-ray within the past year in MI, IN, CT, and MA, and within 5 years in all other regions.
• Tdap within the past 10 years. Declinations are accepted only if the assignment does not involve pediatric interaction.
