We're currently seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to support students in the Roseburg, OR area for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred; experience working with children with a variety of developmental, sensory, and physical disabilities is a plus

This is a blended position with Early Intervention (EI) team that supports 0-3 year olds and our Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) team supporting 3-5 year olds prior to transitioning to kindergarten. In EI we provide services in the child’s least restrictive environment. Sometimes this is in the home, other times in childcare programs, grocery stores, parks, and in clinic per parent request. There is no service coordination with this position. For the EI portion of this position there is also some evaluation requirements. For the ECSE side of the position, it is mostly consultation to community preschool/childcare providers, parents, and ECSE specialized classroom teachers. For both sides of this position, the provider will be working within multi-disciplinary teams. With EI, the team works very closely together. Rarely do our therapists provide direct services to a child without another provider included. EI portion of this job, done about 40% of the time in home services. It increases/decreases rapidly depending on the transition of students between programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment of children's motor abilities in natural and educational settings
- Development of individualized intervention plans to support physical development
- Therapy implementation to address areas of weakness and improve functional mobility
- Environmental modifications to enhance children's participation in educational activities
- Parent/Caregiver education to support carryover of motor skills at home
