Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Science Middle school teacher in Soldotna, Alaska!

We're currently seeking a dedicated Science Middle school teacher ($50-60/hr) to support students in Soldotna, Alaska.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education
• Hold a teaching certificate through DEED in the state of AK, you can start your position with the application in process 

Role Overview:
As Science Teacher, you will support students with diverse learning needs by creating inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Supporting science and science related electives (robotics, etc)

Job Details:   

• Schedule:  Full time
• Dates:  8/10/26 - 5/20/27, plus snow days if applicable
• Hours:  7.5 hours per day in accordance with school schedule   
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:  

• Accommodate, modify, and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs
• Support in the classroom with all disciplines. 
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental levels and interests of their students
