Special Education Resource Teacher

Full-Time | High School Setting | Boulder, Colorado February 1, 2027 - May 3, 2027

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time high school assignment in Boulder, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in a resource setting while working alongside a committed educational team focused on helping students achieve academic success and greater independence.

Position Details

• Assignment Dates: February 1, 2027 through May 3, 2027
• Full-Time Position
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 35 paid hours
  • 2.5 unpaid lunch hours
• High school setting
• Resource Teacher position
• Location: Fairview High School, Boulder, Colorado

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License or currently in the process of obtaining licensure
• A copy of your CDE License or CDE COOL record must be submitted with your resume for consideration
• Candidates without proof of licensure or eligibility will not be reviewed
• Please note: TEE sponsorship is not available
• Minimum of one year of classroom experience required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexible, student-focused professional committed to educational excellence

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to high school students receiving special education services
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
• Track student progress and maintain all required educational documentation
• Differentiate instruction to address diverse learning needs and academic goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
• Foster student self-advocacy, independence, and successful post-secondary outcomes
