Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (NOCs)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Holiday rotation required
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence
• Float between 6th/7th floors (Med/Surg/Oncology) and throughout facility as needed
• Float to all facilities within 60-mile radius as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with support staff, decreased to 1:3-4 with primary care/chemo administration
• Care for medical and oncology patients across 15-bed and 21-bed units
• Must interpret basic telemetry rhythms
• Required to wear black scrubs
• 8 hours of unbillable orientation required
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience required
• Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg experience required
• EPIC charting experience within last 2 years required
• Previous travel experience required - no local candidates within 50 miles
• At least one completed travel contract required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS
• Preferred certifications: AHA ACLS, ONC
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• No on-call or call-back requirements
