Opportunity:

RAD Tech - RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work a 7 on/7 off schedule with mixed PM and day shifts
• Schedule includes: Monday-Thursday 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, followed by 7 consecutive days off
• Perform general x-ray procedures including portable x-rays to support Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient services
• Conduct full CT procedures to support Emergency Department and inpatient care (typically excludes outpatient appointments and invasive procedures like biopsies)
• Prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures under direction of radiologist or other providers
• Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols
• Utilize appropriate radiation protection measures following ALARA principles
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and document information into RIS system
• Position patients appropriately and select technical factors for maximum diagnostic quality
• Review studies for technical accuracy and ensure correct image identification
• Work with PACS system for image approval, matching orders, and archiving
• Document fluoro time and estimated skin exposure for fluoroscopic studies
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC system for comprehensive workflow management
• Assist in patient transport as needed and collaborate with radiologists and ordering providers
• Maintain clean work environment and assist with stocking supplies
• One year of current clinical experience or clinical student experience required
• ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology required
• Current Wisconsin state license as a Radiographer required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required
