Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts on Telemetry Unit 4B
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
• 24-bed unit with 1:7 patient ratio
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• One cancellation allowed per 2-week period
• Float to Med/Surg units as needed and may be tasked as aid for additional support
• No block schedule requests accepted
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required
• Must be able to perform phlebotomy and read/interpret cardiac strips
• Required certifications: Active Illinois RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Meditech charting experience preferred with mandatory training required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 12 hours non-billable orientation
• Must be hard worker, resilient, and manage change well
• No new travelers - at least one completed contract required
• No RTO over 7 days accepted
