Opportunity:
RN - Palliative
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts including days and nights
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to any inpatient unit and other Central region locations if needed
• Must be outside 50-mile radius from facility
• 13-week contract length
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS
• Minimum 1 year inpatient palliative care experience preferred; 2 years med/surg experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Med/surg skill set required; palliative care/hospice experience helpful
• Work on 10-bed unit with 5:1 RN patient ratio
• Staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 CNA per 10 patients
• Primary cases include palliative, comfort/hospice, and med/surg patients
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate education required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential call back
• Hours not guaranteed during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays
