Opportunity:
RN - Palliative
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts including both days and nights
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required to float to any inpatient unit and other Central region locations if needed
• 2 years medical/surgical experience required, 1 year inpatient palliative care preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS
• Epic charting experience required
• Medical/surgical skill set required, palliative care/hospice experience helpful
• Primary cases include palliative, comfort/hospice, and medical/surgical patients
• Work on 10-bed unit with 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential call-back
• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays
