Opportunity:

Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4-10 hour day shifts with variable start times, normally 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• May have earlier start time of 6:30 AM or later start times of 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM depending on cases
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week for 13-week contract
• On-call requirements: 1-2 times per week from end of shift to 7:00 AM next day
• Every 4th weekend call required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through 7:00 AM Monday)
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Holiday call required (no holiday shifts)
• Can be placed on low census and put on call
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license
• Required education: Associate Degree or Certificate from certified surgical technologist program
• Minimum 2+ years experience required
• Strong orthopedic and C-section experience required
• Must be experienced in sterile processing
• Knowledge of surgical standards and practices required
• Work with standard surgical supplies and instruments
• Facility uses Epic charting system
• Scrub colors provided
• Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
