Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with day/night variable schedule
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other to every third weekend requirement
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Must be willing to float to multiple facilities including Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley
• On-call availability required during low census hours with on-call pay provided
• Call back opportunities available with call back pay
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• 2+ years Med Surg experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Highly preferred: ability to read and interpret telemetry and travel experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Excellent assessment skills required
• 16-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios: typically 4-5 on days, 5-6 on evenings, 6-7 on nights
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays
• Mandatory mask wearing required during flu season if flu and COVID vaccinations are declined
