Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must be willing to float to alike units within skillset and to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Divine Savior
• Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• ADN or BSN required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Patient ratios: Days and PM shifts maximum 5 patients (average 4), nights maximum 7 patients
• Any professional-colored scrubs acceptable
• Must demonstrate ability to manage independently, complete tasks timely, and collaborate effectively with team
• Positive attitude and flexibility required for constant changes during shifts
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times

This healthcare facility operates a 40-bed medical/surgical/pediatric unit with an average daily census of 28 patients. The facility emphasizes comprehensive patient care across multiple specialties and maintains strong collaborative relationships with team members and ancillary staff.
