Opportunity:

Paramedic - Paramedic

Job Details:

• Work 2 twenty-four hour shifts per week with 48 guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend schedule as needed with scheduled rotation including weekend days
• Holiday coverage as needed and available
• Must live within 50 miles of facility location
• May float to other locations in north and central regions based on staffing needs
• No on-call requirements
• Required certifications: Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification, Active Wisconsin Driver's License in good standing, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and Michigan Paramedic Certification
• Wisconsin CCP (Critical Care Paramedic) Endorsement preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience preferred with IFT/Critical Care experience required
• High School graduate and successful completion of EMS paramedic program required
• Training provided on Zoll EMS Charts platform charting system
• Work in various crew configurations including EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, or RN/Medic depending on daily staffing
• Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients
• Conduct ongoing patient assessment and required documentation
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record chart information
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment
• Must demonstrate collaborative teamwork skills and ability to work independently
• Required to wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
