Opportunity:

RN - Tele House Supervisor

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 6-week schedule cycle with every other weekend rotation required
• Every other major holiday coverage expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio averages up to 6 patients per nurse depending on staffing
• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS certification preferred
• Float to any Medical/Surgical unit as assigned by House Supervisor
• 1 shift orientation provided
• General Medical/Surgical skillset required including traches, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm strip interpretation, Lasix drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, and wound vacs
• Work with EPIC EMR system (required experience), Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Support staff includes CNA/Tech, HUC, RNs, Rapid Response Team, phlebotomy for peripheral lab draws, charge nurse, and central telemetry monitoring with tele tech
• Dress code requires solid color scrubs with no logos
• Free parking provided
• Up to 7 days RTO available with contract extension

This healthcare facility is a 277-bed acute care hospital that serves as a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The facility features a Level III NICU and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The hospital maintains modern technology and equipment to support high-quality patient care across various medical specialties and surgical services.
