Opportunity:
RN - ICU Neuro
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Overtime pay after 48 hours worked
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Minimum 2 years experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation assistance
• Handle bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Future state includes caring for Neuro interventional patients
• Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks in timely manner
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
