Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day and night variable shifts (Day: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Night: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Patient ratios: 4-5 patients on day shift, 6-8 patients on night shift
• Float as needed to like units at Aspirus Wausau, Aspirus Langlade, Aspirus Medford, and Aspirus Stanley
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement
• Can be placed on call for low census with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Treat adults with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and other medical conditions
• Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, work independently, and maintain positive attitude with flexibility

The medical-surgical unit focuses on caring for adult patients with a wide range of conditions including respiratory, neurological, gastrointestinal, and other acute medical needs. The facility emphasizes quality patient care and maintains modern technology including EPIC charting systems to support clinical operations.
