Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed (Fri/Sat for nights, Sat/Sun for days)
• Holiday rotation required for observed holidays
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Riverview locations
• No on-call or callback requirements, additional shifts may be available for sick calls
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience and Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be ICU and Med/Surg competent
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
• Scrub color requirement: dark blue
• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of nonbillable low census hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times
• Associate degree or certificate required

This healthcare facility features an 11-bed Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit that provides comprehensive care for medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements and general surgical procedures. The facility maintains specialized areas for different patient populations and emphasizes teamwork and adaptability among nursing staff. The organization is part of a larger health system with multiple locations requiring float capabilities between sites.
