Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts, mostly nights from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with possible day shifts as needed
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Float to all alike units within skillset as needed
• Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday rotation required
• On-call generally not required, but if needed, call back time is 1 hour with 2-hour minimum
• 2 years RRT experience required, NICU experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: CRT or RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP (must be AHA or ARC certified)
• Wisconsin license required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Perform EKGs, small volume nebulizers, heated high flow, NIV, and ventilator management
• Baby resuscitation procedures
• Work with Hamilton C1 and G5 ventilators, V60 BIPAP equipment
• Average patient ratio of 4-10 patients on MedSurg/ICU floor plus ED and urgent care volumes
• Provide inpatient and emergency department coverage
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
