Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with every weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Holiday rotation required
• 3-5 years medical surgical experience required
• At least 1 traveler contract completed preferred
• Must be able to read telemetry
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips required
• Short term acute care hospital experience required
• EPIC charting experience required within last 12 months
• Required certifications: BLS, Wisconsin or Compact nursing license
• Must complete required CBLs prior to starting (unpaid)
• Patient ratio 1:7-8 possible on 53-bed unit
• Float requirements to other like units and facilities as needed based on census
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Any scrub colors acceptable
• Must be hardworking, resilient, manage change well, and work effectively in fast-paced environment
• Strong documentation skills required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Manager phone interview required
