Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients on night shift
• Strong cardio/heart care experience needed with 1+ years experience
• 2+ years medical-surgical experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed preferred
• Must be comfortable with rhythm interpretation and familiar with routine cardiac care
• Experience with open heart surgical, arrhythmia, chest pain, cardiac procedural patients, heart failure, and acute MI patients
• Current Epic charting experience within 12 months required
• Float to Oconomowoc Memorial and/or Mukwonago facilities as needed based on census
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Required certifications: WI or Compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Manager phone interview and MSP interview required
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a 31-bed intermediate care unit that provides specialized cardiac care and treats a diverse patient population. The unit handles heart failure, heart surgery and thoracic surgeries, pacemaker placements, ablations, TAVRs, cardiac catheterizations, myocardial infarctions, hypertension urgency, sepsis, respiratory failure, strokes, and medical overflow patients. The facility maintains high standards for cardiac care and utilizes Epic electronic health record systems to support comprehensive patient management.
