Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour variable shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Required on-call responsibilities: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week
• May require additional call on occasion with 2-hour minimum callback
• Subject to low census and may be placed on call
• Work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Must be outside 50-mile radius from facility (expires 2/20/26)
• 2+ years OR experience required with cardiac experience mandatory
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License
• Epic charting system preferred
• Handle 1-5 cases per day, approximately 45 per month
• Cardiothoracic experience required including off and on pump bypass graft cases, AVR, MVR, TVR, full maze, minimally invasive maze, thoracoscopic/thoracotomy, pacemakers, TAVR, pericardial windows, and ascending aortic dissections
• Pull case carts, perform downtime stocking and cleaning duties
• Potential to circulate general cases during downtime
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Mask required at all times if flu and COVID vaccination declined during flu season
