Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday expectations based on facility needs
• 1:1 patient ratios working with neonates to geriatric respiratory patients
• 1 day orientation on the unit
• Charcoal gray scrubs required
• Must have 2 years experience with full lifespan of patients (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics)
• Active Illinois license required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA), NRP, and either RRT or CRT
• EPIC experience mandatory
• Technical skills required: Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, ECMO, critical care experience, ventilator associated pneumonia prevention, spontaneous breathing trials, ABG draws
• Work with equipment including PB840 and 980 ventilators, Servo-U and Hamilton ventilators, V60s and ResMed CPAP/BiPAP, Optiflow, and Hamilton transport vents
• Potential floating to other hospitals within the PSA based on contract
