Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Float requirements to Tomahawk, Eagle River, and Howard Young facilities with pre-scheduled floating when needed
• Weekend and holiday rotation every other or every 3rd weekend based on staffing needs
• Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back
• Minimum 1+ years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT, Wisconsin license
• NRP certification preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Work with equipment including Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 heated high flow, Optiflow, and Resmed S10 auto CPAPs
• Support all patient care areas including emergency department and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for rapid response and code blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment with assess and treat protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• Any scrub colors acceptable
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
