Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (contract ends on Sunday, not Saturday)
• 6-week contract length starting ASAP
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units at facility as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with responsibility for primary patients and insulin drips
• Work on 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
• ICU experience preferred, trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Clinical interview required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be hard-working, resilient, able to manage change well, and work independently in fast-paced environment
