Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 1st shift (Days) from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 2nd shift (Evenings) from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Occasional slight variations in shift times depending on department needs
• Schedule cycle created by Lead Tech in 4-week increments
• Weekend rotation could include 1 weekend in 5 weeks, but might be none
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday expectations: 50% of holidays in a contract or less
• Average 18 patients per day across 2 shifts
• 2 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, AART-M
• Perform mostly general MRI scans with no cardiac or functional MRI procedures
• IV start skills required
• Work with adults and some pediatric patients with minor sports injuries
• Handle outpatient, inpatient, ER, ICU/vented patients, sedation, and whole body scans
• Use EPIC EMR system and GE MRI equipment (experience preferred)
• No floating requirements
• 2 shifts department orientation plus NEO
• Professional dress code: any solid color scrubs

This healthcare facility is a 99-bed Level III Trauma Center featuring one MRI suite with comprehensive imaging services. The facility provides support through imaging assistants, lead technologists, phlebotomy, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and supervisory staff. The organization maintains a professional unit culture and utilizes modern technology including EPIC EMR systems and GE MRI equipment to deliver quality patient care across multiple service lines.
