Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in 2-room cardiac catheterization lab with 1 EP/Cath room and 1 Cath Lab
• Average of 4 cases per day
• Take approximately 50% call per month including multiple nights per week
• Weekend call covers entire weekend from end of shift Friday until Monday morning
• Weekday call hours: 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Holiday call required
• Float only between rooms within department and pre-op area
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical care experience (ED or ICU) required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Handle cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostics, interventional, femoral and radial approach, IFR, FFR, balloon pumps
• Assist with electrophysiology procedures including pacemakers, AICS, loop recorders, diagnostic EP, right-sided ablations
• Work with balloon pumps and temporary pacers
• Participate in 24/7, 365 STEMI program
• Use EPIC EMR system, Maclab hemodynamic system, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE C-arms
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available
• Must maintain excellent communication skills and work well in interdisciplinary teams

Facility:

This medical center is a 72-bed facility that serves as a Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive cardiac services. The facility features a Level III NICU and is designated as a Primary Stroke Center, providing advanced medical care to the community. The cardiac catheterization department operates as part of a 24/7 STEMI program and maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiac procedures and electrophysiology services.
