Opportunity:
RAD Tech - RAD Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with every other weekend rotation
• One on-call shift per week with call times: 1st call 6:30 AM-2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM-6:30 AM
• Flexible shift start times with 1-1.5 hour variation depending on staffing needs
• Handle 15-20 patients per tech per day on average
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural patients of all age ranges
• Perform surgical/procedure imaging, general radiography, and portable X-rays
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment for ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• Work in OR for orthopedic, general, and spine procedures (preferred comfort with O-arm)
• Required certifications: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years acute or surgical experience required
• Must have highly competent surgery and procedure experience
• Work with EMR system EPIC and PACS McKesson
• Operate GE, Fuji, Del Medical X-ray equipment and GE 9900/Elites C-arms
• Surgery scrubs provided in-house

• 7-day department orientation following facility NEO
• One holiday per contract required
• One day off during week leading up to work weekend and one day off week following work weekend
Facility:
This major healthcare facility is a 636-bed Level III Trauma Center with Magnet designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center. The radiology department features 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy suites, 1 video swallow room, plus clinic space with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room. The facility provides comprehensive support with radiologists available 24/7, along with hospitalists and intensivists around the clock. The department maintains robust staffing with 14 techs on day shift, 7 on second shift, and 3 on night shift, supported by a lead tech on first shift.
