Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work in a Level II NICU with 7 beds
• 3 years of experience required, Level III experience preferred
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3 for both days and nights
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP (STABLE certification is a plus)
• Must be familiar with EPIC charting system
• Care for neonates 32 weeks and older, no vents longer than 24 hours
• Handle IVABX, feeder and growers, jaundice, and NAS babies
• Skills required include line management, ventilator experience, NAS care protocols
• Responsible for stabilizing and shipping patients when needed
• Assist with deliveries including catching babies in C-sections and attending complicated deliveries
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• May float to postpartum area as needed
• Holiday expectations vary based on facility needs
• Hospital scrubs provided
• On-property parking available
• At least 1 shift orientation to learn unit flow
• No call responsibilities

This healthcare facility is a 72-licensed bed hospital featuring a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center designation. The facility provides comprehensive maternal and neonatal care with specialized NICU services, supported by 24/7 respiratory therapy, neonatologist on-call coverage, and neonatal nurse practitioners. The facility utilizes modern equipment including EPIC charting, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems, with centralized telemetry monitoring for enhanced patient safety.
