Opportunity:

RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Job Details:

• Work in combined Cath Lab/IR department with dedicated staff for each specialty
• 4 procedure rooms available (pre/post area staffed by different unit)
• 3-person team in procedure room: 2 Nurses, 1 Tech
• Scrub and record procedures as primary responsibilities
• Float between cath lab and IR based on skillset
• Weekend rotation includes call responsibilities
• Call schedule: 5:30 PM - 7:30 AM weekdays and 24/7 weekends
• RT call rotation: 1 week every 3 or 4 weeks depending on role
• Holiday expectations include call coverage
• Up to 7 days off can be approved
• 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience required
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, ACLS (preferred)
• EPIC and MERGE charting systems utilized
• 1-3 days orientation provided based on comfort level
• Procedural scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available onsite

This healthcare facility is a 176-bed hospital featuring Level 2 trauma center designation and Magnet recognition. The facility operates as a Primary Stroke Center with a Level 2 NICU and provides comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services. The organization maintains high standards of patient care with advanced procedural capabilities including invasive cardiology, structural heart programs, and various interventional radiology services.
