Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Float required to ICU first, then step down units, and then medical-surgical units as needed
• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience in Academic Medical Center required
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for identified groups of patients in inpatient environment
• Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to primarily adult population
• Provide care and management for cardiac surgery patients
• IABP, Impella, and ECMO experience preferred if possible
• Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations required
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice required
• Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from participating NLC state required
• Required certifications: AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS), AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• English language proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required
