Opportunity:
Surg Tech - Surg Tech
Job Details:
• Scrub and assist with sterile processing and patient positioning
• DaVinci XI robotics experience required
• Handle case types including general, bariatrics, ophthalmology, ortho, neuro, cardiac, urology, ENT (sinus, ear tubes, tonsils, thyroids), plastics, endovascular, and fistulas
• Specialization focus on ENT, endovascular, minor vascular, and robotics procedures
• Must be able to perform neuro surgery and orthopedics
• Work in 19 operating rooms split between 2 locations in the hospital
• 1:1 tech to patient ratio
• Float between Main OR and East side (same building), potentially to West Side surgery center across town (rare)
• 2-day orientation consisting of (2) 8-hour shifts on the unit
• Possibility of some weekend work and holiday coverage
• No on-call responsibilities
• Procedural scrub color provided
• Free on-site parking available
• Required certifications: CST and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• Maximum of 4 days RTO will be approved
• Technology includes EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a Level II Trauma Center featuring 167 beds and comprehensive surgical services. The facility includes a Level III NICU, Level III Maternity Center, and serves as a Primary Stroke Center. The surgical department operates 19 operating rooms across multiple locations within the facility, providing advanced surgical care including robotics capabilities and a wide range of specialty procedures.
